Kimberly Kur

As ACF’s Chief Development Officer (CDO), Kimberly Kur is responsible for the foundation’s statewide asset development and donor engagement activities. Kimberly leads a team of seasoned professionals in areas of charitable gift planning, donor relations, and partnering with professional advisors to bring new donors into the foundation to help them to achieve their philanthropic goals. Kimberly also works closely herself with existing and future donors, nonprofits and professional advisors to facilitate lifetime and planned charitable gifts. During her tenure at ACF, which began in July of 2000, she has seen the foundation grow from $325 million to nearly $1.4 billion today.
Kimberly is a cum laude graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law and earned her Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Pennsylvania. In 2018, Kimberly earned her Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation from the American College of Financial Services. Her current professional memberships include serving on the board of Valley Estate Planners and as a member of the Amelia Group, consisting of CDOs from large community foundations across the country, Advancement Network, Inc., Charitable Gift Planners Association of Arizona and the Financial Planners Association of Greater Phoenix.
Kimberly is an active lay leader in the Jewish community, serving in numerous leadership roles during her 23 years in Arizona. Currently, Kimberly serves on the board of ASU Hillel. Kimberly is married to Norm Kur, and they have two young adult children. In her free time, Kimberly enjoys family game night, Mahjong, tennis, hiking, yoga, reading, and travel.
