Burton Family Foundation Welcomes Journalism Interns

Through a partnership with the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University we’re excited to host two interns this fall, offering them an opportunity to gain real world communications experience while earning academic credit to advance their educational goals.

Doyal D’angelo Bolin is a master’s student at Arizona State University earning his degree in sports journalism. He is a graduate of Washington State University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Broadcast News and Public Relations. He enjoys playing sports, reading and weightlifting in his free time. Tori Smith is a master’s student at Arizona University earning her degree in investigative journalism. She is from Indiana, and is a recent graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, where she earned her undergraduate degree in journalism. During her time there, she worked for the newspaper, was an editor for the magazine, and was a public relations and social media assistant at the David Owsley Museum of Art.
