To apply for a grant, follow this three-step process:

1. Find out if your work aligns with our funding priorities by filling out the form (below). 


2. If your organization’s work does align, you may submit a Letter of Intent via the Arizona Community Foundation’s grants portal (note that you will need to create an account if you don’t have one already).

3. Once your Letter of Intent is submitted, our team will review the request and let you know if you are invited to submit a full application for consideration.

Are you ready to check your eligibility?
Is your organization a 501(c)(3) organization, as defined by the Internal Revenue Code, an educational institution, or a local, state, federal, or tribal government body?
Is your organization currently headquartered, or providing services, in Arizona?
Does your organization provide services in one of the following fields: education, children and youth, human services?
Has your organization submitted a funding inquiry to the Burton Family Foundation in the last 12 months?
Is your organization seeking support from the Burton Family Foundation to establish or build an endowment or reserve fund?
Is your organization seeking support from the Burton Family Foundation to purchase, design, or construct a new facility?
Is the organization seeking support from the Burton Family Foundation to support classroom projects or field trips?
Is the organization seeking support from the Burton Family Foundation to support a political party, candidate, or campaign, or to influence potential or pending legislation?
We regret to inform you that your organization is not eligible to be considered for a grant from The Burton Family Foundation at this time.
